This young family’s home had a traditional layout with smaller, individual rooms, that did not work well for their family. The solution was to build an addition, combining and enlarging the kitchen and dining room, and creating a space that now serves as the central hub of the house. Upstairs, a new master bedroom suite was created and bedrooms were reconfigured to give everyone their own space. These improvements make it feel like a whole new house: bright, modern, and spacious. It completely changed the way this family connects downstairs, and enjoys their down time upstairs.
